Kawama is not just a restaurant. It's a dream come true.
After more than 20 years living in Miami, Annette decided
it was time to bring a piece of that vibrant, warm
and flavorful city to the heart of Málaga.
She wanted to create a place where people could feel that
unique energy that only Miami has: the mix of cultures, the
authentic flavors of the Caribbean and Cuba, and that relaxed vibe that makes you
feel at home... even though you're thousands of miles away.
That's how Kawama was born: a tropical bistro where every sandwich,
every bagel and every cocktail tells you a story.

KAWAMA was born out of a dream: to bring an authentic piece of tropical Miami to the heart of Málaga. After more than 20 years living in Miami, our founder Anette decided to create a space that would capture the essence of that vibrant city - its food, its energy and its warmth - and share it with the Costa del Sol.
Here you won't find the usual. At Kawama we serve unique and daring flavors: Cuban sandwiches Miami style, tropical cocktails full of freshness and dishes designed to enjoy the summer as it should.
